Instructions for the application of adhesive plaster

This is how you will achieve a good result with lime adhesive plaster.

For use as a base plaster for subsequent mineral coatings

Suitable surfaces:

  • all mineral surfaces (lime, gypsum and cement plaster)
  • Concrete surfaces
  • aerated concrete blocks
  • Plasterboard/gypsum fibreboards

These substrates require a primer before using the adhesive plaster:

Processing:

The substrate should be free of dust and grease, solid and dry. The lime adhesive plaster is applied to grain thickness and lightly smoothed. If you want to prepare a mixed substrate, as is often the case with conversions, a reinforcing fabric is embedded. After a drying time of 12 – 24 hours a coating with our marble plasters can follow. If you want to use Stucco Veneziano, it is recommended that you apply creative plaster and then two to three layers of Stucco Veneziano. The adhesive plaster can also be felted with the sponge board or textured with the smoothing trowel. It is not necessary to paint over it, the adhesive plaster provides a beautiful white surface.

Full declaration: Marble slaked lime [Ca(OH)²], marble powder [CaCO³] in various gradations, water, wheat starch, methyl cellulose.

Yield: Approx. 1500g/m² per layer depending on substrate preparation, if a reinforcement fabric is embedded to prevent cracking, the consumption increases to approx. 2.5 – 3 kg.

Specific weight: Approx. 1.46 kg/l

Ph value: Approx. 12.5

Storage conditions: Frost-free and in closed containers, covered with a PVC film and a layer of water, durable for many years.

Safety instructions: R36/38: Irritating to eyes and skin.
