The special application process creates the pores, indentations, textures, and vibrant color gradients typical of travertine. Depending on the desired look, the surface can be finished to appear calm and elegant or bold and rustic.
Classic block joints can also be incorporated. This creates the impression of a wall made of individual travertine slabs or solid natural stone blocks. Since each surface is crafted by hand, it is truly one-of-a-kind.
Natural colors with inorganic pigments
Travertino can be customized with inorganic pigments in numerous shades. Warm natural colors are particularly popular, such as:
- Cream and ivory—can be mixed with Terra di Siena natural
- Sand and beige — burnt Terra di Siena works well for this
- Ochre and terracotta—Rosso Sartorius and/or Ochre Soforouge
- Brown and gray tones - Natural Umber and Graphite and/or Oxide Black

Special accents with mica
For exclusive effects, Travertino can be enhanced with various types of mica. White muscovite mica is available in different grain sizes and creates elegant light reflections. Amber and gold mica add warm, elegant accents to the surface.
Iron mica is also very popular. It is available in various sizes and creates striking, metallic shimmering effects. Depending on the angle of light and the viewing angle, the effect of the mica changes, bringing additional vibrancy to the wall design.
