Hydrophob extra – the impregnation for shower cubicles, wet rooms, and smooth plasters in outdoor areas

The high-quality Hydrophob extra impregnation has been specially developed to treat smooth marble plasters. It offers effective protection against dirt, stains, and moisture while preserving the natural beauty of the marble. Thanks to its unique formula, this water-based silicone impregnation penetrates deep into the pores of the marble and forms an invisible protective layer on the surface. This prevents dirt particles and liquids from penetrating the plaster. The impregnation has a water-repellent effect. It ensures that water beads run off the surface instead of penetrating it and causing darkening. The thin, colorless, and ready-to-use impregnation does not change the appearance of the marbling. The color is only slightly enhanced. This impregnation is UV-resistant and non-yellowing and can be used indoors and outdoors.

Details

Coverage: approx. 25 m² with 250 grams. Be sure to dilute the concentrate 1:9 with water. 1 part Hydrophob Extra and 9 parts clean water.
Application: Apply to a dry, absorbent, and untreated marble plaster surface using a spray bottle and remove any residue and streaks with a brush or sponge. After a dry season of 12 hours, carry out a second job if necessary.
Drying time: Approximately 2 to 4 hours, depending on room temperature and air circulation. When used outdoors, protect from rain and heavy moisture until dry.
Application temperature: The ideal application temperature for the surface to be treated is between +5°C and +27°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
