Gold leaf - impact metal

The wafer-thin metal foils can be used on our smoothing plasters Stucco Veneziano, Marmorino or creative plasters. They can also be used to decorate other objects made of paper, cardboard, wood, glass, plastic, polystyrene, porcelain and metal. Natural materials such as stones, shells or other materials can be easily refined.

Each piece is supplied in bundles of 100 sheets. There is a sheet of paper between each bundle to make it easy to hold the sheets.

Processing instructions

Apply mixing milk to the dry, clean surface. A flash-off time of approx. 15 minutes must be observed.
Tools like this one are suitable:

• 5 cm wide foam roller with tray
• 10 cm and 15 cm wide rollers
• Stencilling brush

Now place the thin metal foils slightly overlapping on the adhesive and carefully press down with a soft brush or your fingers. Once all the sheets have been applied, lightly polish with the brush and remove any excess material in the direction of the overlap and any creases. After 2-3 days, Punic wax can be used to protect the entire surface and increase the shine.
